please log in to view this image The Toleman TG, The car that springboarded Ayrton Senna's carear went on auction sale at silverstone yesterday. This is the car that Senna entered the world stage by finishing the Monaco Grand Prix 2nd (and almost winning) from 13th on the grid. The 1984 race circuit was drenched that year and provided tricky racing conditions for all drivers. The car was withdrawn as it reached £505,000, way off the £550,000 reserve.
