The FIA has banned FRICS with immediate effect. It is quite clearly illegal because the purpose is for aerodynamic effect. The FIA has offered the teams a compromise and stated that they will be willing to delay the ban until the end of the 2014 season providing every single team confirms in writing that they will not protest any result.
I do hope they don't deem circular wheels to be moveable aerodynamics. So they need a unanimous decision to not ban it, hmm, could be a good source of revenue for the back-markers. didn't HRT nearly hold everyone to ransom over double diffusers in 2011?
As if we didn't know, 'team-building' exercises are a waste of time and dangerous!! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115103
I can, sadly, believe it!!!! Bernie and co don't have a clue how social media works and don't believe it has any part to play in F1 so they try and ban it! How stupid can they be. If they are bothered about silly hashtags then they just need to remind teams that they should not bring 'sport' into disrepute by using mocking hashtags!
Maybe they'll mandate that everyone has to use the full event title, which for the last race would be #FORMULA 1 GROSSER PREIS SANTANDER VON DEUTSCHLAND 2014. Very catchy Of course then everyone would have to follow FOM's official guidelines and add the disclaimer of "This tweet is unofficial and is not associated in any way with the Formula One group of companies. F1, FORMULA ONE, FORMULA 1, FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, GRAND PRIX and related marks are trade marks of Formula One Licensing B.V. " This will triple the length of every tweet, which triples F1's exposure on twitter which can only be a good thing!
It's okay boys, Flavio's going to make F1 great again! http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115160
I thought Flabio was 'busy' making the rules for GP1 for when Bernie loses F1. Not bad for a fashion design manager
