I personally thought he was more impressive in the WSR tests but Ferrari have decided to place Marciello in GP2, he has signed with Racing Engineering. They must have REALLY wanted Marciello because apparently he's paying less to drive for them than he would have paid in WSR. Mixed feelings on Vandoorne and Marciello going to GP2. It's a **** series but the coverage of it is far better. They should dominate, the GP2 field has been getting weaker and weaker for years now, to call the the drivers left mediocre would be a compliment.

after reading it I ended up feeling sorry for Davidson & Sato who may have ended up with a WDC instead of Jenson, but, like most sport, it's really all a question of being good and lucky.
Its more likely Vettel would have a 5th ,sadly, but it is amazing to think how many drivers with otherwise unremarkable careers nearly got to drive that car.
Ecclestone to face bribery charges Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone will be tried on bribery charges, a German court has ruled. A panel of judges in Munich had been deliberating whether he should face trial over allegations he made a corrupt payment. Mr Ecclestone is already facing a £90m civil claim in London's High Court. That case was brought by a German media company, Constantin Medien, who claim they lost out financially when the sport was sold in 2006.
