A few years ago I saw Gordon and his wife in the Nuffield hospital in Clayton ( a new knee for me ) , I got the impression from their facial expression and the fact they were seated away from other people that they sought not to be disturbed , so I did not approach , but I am so in awe of the man that I was a little afraid to anyway.
