Then why did you feel the need to mention the words "bound to be much less entertaining" when comparing excitement in the leagues.

You obviously dont watch spanish football but have decided to have a go at it for being boring.

You are either just stupid or a wum? Which is it?

Also, England has had 4 different European Cup finalists whereas Spain has had only 2 in the same period.

Fair enough, only 2, but if Milan hadn't have had their CL ban for corruption inexplicably overturned it would be 3. Barcelona should never have been in the 2009 final either. I'm no Chelsea fan, but they were screwed over that night. Though it was funny to see Drogba storming about in his flip-flops.

People look at how good Barca and Real Madrid are and assume that the Spanish league is amazing. La Liga is on its knees. The teams are nothing special, and as the Banana-headed one said, you can't assume that because Bilbao happened to beat United tonight their country's top-flight is 'better'. The teams are crippled with debt (more so than the Premier League) and as it becomes more and more top-heavy, the situation will only worsen. The rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer. The best teams will get better, the worse teams will worsen. La Liga will go bust before the Premier League.

    Was just kidding anyway <laugh>

In terms of the Barca Chelsea game, the record books dont talk about refereeing decisions. Chelsea also had their fair share in their successful seasons under mourinho <ok>

Drogba seems like a bit of a psycho <laugh>

What I can't understand is why the celts get so worked up about whether one league is better than another league when neither has anything to do with them.

"The Spanish league is the best in the world! Fantastic! Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh!"
