two best teams this season by points have two best tackling Midfielders - Kante & Wanyama.
Very point I made all of last season.

on same vein I reiterate our frailties, so that we get better.
Our weakest links Cahill, Cescy & Alonso. I won't shun away

P.S Cescy cannot beat my dead granny in sprint - FAKT.

Cesc is a great talent.Bet Conte don't want to lose him.Next season we may play
3 5 2 which is Conte's "real" preferred system,this could suit Cesc more.

Good point. There is no doubt in the "right " team Fabregas is a great player. He is not great in our current formation, except against weaker teams. Maybe he will be perfect if Conte changes the system, or varies the system ,which he will probably have to do. Sure the others teams will come up with a way to negate our "3 at the back" before too long. Fab might come right back into the equation if that happens. meanwhile he IS a great impact player. Problem is, he's too good for that and might leave for a team that suits his game.

But Cesc is not and will never be a defensive midfielder. He will always play with a Kante or Matic. My point is that you don't have to have 2 of these in every game.

It's all well and good focusing on Cescs weaker points but ignoring the strengths of his game, such as his assists and ability to control a midfield when in possession. Having Cesc in the team alleviates the pressure on Hazard and Willian/Pedro to create but he is not as good a shield as Matic. Swings and roundabouts.

Will have to start calling you StanDMoan.
