of course its the way forward, Arsenal has been doing it for years and are always there or there abouts without spending huge amounts of money on players. can you imagine if they did spend like man utd/city and chelsea....they would be unstoppable.....managers are now trying to install the passing game into their teams but its hard if you dont have the right players, you find that a £5million player is better at the style we play than the ones who cost £15-£30 million and arsen knows this and we are doing the same....its total football that everyone will be playing in the future....you just have to find the right players which is the hard job for the scouts.....

I'm part Italian so I was obviously supporting Italy. It was a very depressing match from the Italian perspective. What ever Italy did just countered. At times Italy were chasing shadows. I realised that this must be what it's like to be an opposition fan against us (The Swans). The triangles of passing were brilliant as was the vision of all the players as well as some clinical finishing. Torres was a menace when he came on. Despite him scoring one and creating another against Italy he was a joy to watch (as were the rest of the team actually). If we were going to be beaten I'd rather be beaten by a great performance by a great team than against a kick and rush team like England.

Well done Spain, you deserved it. I can see them dominating International football for some time!

I turned over in bed on my wife's 40th birthday and she'd put on 20 pounds and grown a moustache.

    Just kidding - she's gorgeous.
