Thought I’d revive this thread as it’s down to me and I can’t be arsed to do a new one. It’s the strangest thing watching a behind-closed-door game!
As one commentator said, this is being played in front of a record crowd. If they can find a dog, it will be played in front of one man and a dog. On the radio, the commentary sounds like a Radio 4 play, but without the sound effects. Waiting for Godot, but with less excitement.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the seats in The Chapel going up as they leave early for their half time cup of tea
I've just noticed that ITV have got a one hour highlights show for this match at 10:45. That should challenge the creativity of the sports editor. Maybe there will be some slo-mo replays of the coin toss, from different angles.

As long as it isn’t Bath getting thrashed, like we did by Exeter last week, I just enjoy the fabulous rugby played by the European Champions. 8 tries to nil, 52-3. The Kiwi wing James Lowe was MoM, an incredible player.
Those were a fun few months! My most exciting time as an England fan. Can't imagine what it would have been like had we made the final.
