Personally I think he’s done a good job to get players like that in, given the circumstances of the club right now.
Ward won't be playing today as he was signed too late. He will also not be playing next Saturday as he is away with Northern Ireland.

A cracking last 20 min , with 3 goals and : sendings off. After a sterile first half, we gradually got on top with Cullen making a decent debut and Taylor always a threat. Unfortunately we couldn’t hang on to a lead for long enough, but there were “scenes” at the end as Bielik scored a corner, prompting jubilant scenes in the away end. MOM Pearce today, with Cullen & Bielik also playing well. Bowyer, Jackson and the players celebrated with the 1,300 Charlton fans at the end. Great day out !!
Great win for us, always nice to get three points away. The same difficulty in putting chances away sounded as if it was going to cost us at least two points, but we got a late winner to move into the comfort zone. Sounded as if all three red cards were good decisions too though the ref was getting pelters for 90 minutes. Happy days.
