I've had a lot of nice cars:

BMW 850i V12
Sierra Cosworth
Porsche 911
TVR Griffith
Capri 3.0

among many others.

The Capri had a staged 2 tuned head, a rally exhaust system, gas Spax suspension, and Twin-Weber carbs. It was an absolute beast!

I had the Cosworth when I was 22, and my insurance cost more than the car was worth!
That's an impressive car history HIAG.

The Cosworth was a car that despite being pug ugly - given it was a Sierra - provided genuine Super Car performance in its day. An iconic motor that.

If HIAG keeps the boxes that they came in, those cars will be worth a lot more too

Great price to be fair, we were looking at £4-5m pre Euros:)

Not a great price considering they're throwing 40mil+ around for most scraps on the market.

Pelle is far better than 13mil. Very good striker.

Price is irrelevant anyway - he's joining the exodus <ok>

I don't think they play in the J-league mate.

He's 31 (next week), has a year left and has been carrying an injury for half season. We probably got the best 2 years of his career and made a profit, seems pretty good to me.

As for exodus we're used to it by now and you can hardly put Pelle in the same category as Viv & Mane though of course the media will report it as such <ok>

True, it's a nice little earner.

The problem is with the amount of money the PL is getting you could have kept him for another year and let him go for free. He's a goal scorer.

Obviously if you get a decent replacement and don't miss him it's happy days <ok>

For the first point that was very much my stance when the price quoted pre Euros was £4/5m as that will probably only be around 2 places next year <laugh>

I am cautiously optimistic of Austin being fit n raring to go for the start of the season. Spend £8-10m on a young striker we can develop and job done <ok>

I had a Rover 204. Sold it to my dealer when I was 18 and got a one way ticket to Alicante to live the 'Spanish dream'. Ended up getting mixed up with Roman gypsies and had the holiday from hell (in hindsight!). Quite fun at the time. I ran out money fairly quickly and ended up sleeping in a squat in Fuengirola with loads of nutters. I met some bird over there about six months later who was knocking about with some Irish guys that were on the run for robbing a chocolate factory in England, she ended up getting gang raped and I ended up in some trouble over drug deportation and got deported.

That's all my Rover 204's fault.

Wouldn't recommend one personally.

Are you Danny Dyer?

Cos your life story sounds remarkably ****ing familiar <laugh>

Interesting stat... with Mane's move, Liverpool have spent £95.5m on Southampton players in 2 years. That's 7 times what Marcus Liebherr paid to buy the whole club <whistle>

No but that is a true story.

Although I'm now a responsible father and partner (not married yet). Some of my past would send shock waves through your brain <laugh>

It's rather colourful.

We should have just bought the club ages ago. Although It's quite nice having a feeder club with good scouts working for you and getting paid by someone else.

Expensive in the long term but it's not my money.
