Southampton

Discussion in 'Liverpool' started by Flappy Flanagan (JK), Nov 9, 2013.

  1. Southampton have done very well but if they get injuries they'll incur problems because their first is very good but they've not got the biggest / greatest squad. I love the way they play too; good attacking pressing football at a high pace.

  2. If they play like they did against us, Man Utd won't stand a chance.

Don't worry we'll get over it. It's only a short term irritant you know <laugh>

I'm hoping they do. Get rid of players like Milner and Lampard (and a couple of others) and take these 2. They sound foreign so that has to make us favourites to win the cup <whistle>

    1. they spent a lot of money.

    2. I've seen more sides do this than I've had hot toast. after christmas they will be down around 6th. thats still fantastic for them.

    3. he's not a genius any more than pardew was when newkie did it. He is though a better manager and could be poached by a bigger club as a result.

Both he and the players will be poached if they keep it up. They will be a victim of their own success.

    sort of agree Lucas,

could have players there who show the same sort of loyalty that Le Tiss showed towards them, he could have gone anywhere and its a credit to the saints they managed to keep hold of him.

if they can keep hold of their players and manager, couple of seasons time maybe 1 i see them as a top 6 team.

for now i see them as a top 8-10 team, ie can they keep this going ALL season, think their fans would take that and get some stability going and they will be a team to watch out for, is enjoyable watching them as well.
