Thank god, my computer's been fixed as I've been so cut off the last few days. I'd rather consider all the results over this month than one specific game. I'd settle for a draw against West Ham if we won two other games (7 points going into November would be okay). As for being at the top being a poisoned chalice, it beats being at the bottom!
A story about (the great) Bobby Moore I read today bought back memories of the 66/67 season - our first in Div 1 - when we scored goals for fun, and conceded like lunatics. When the Hammers came to town the whiners thought we'd get stuffed - we won 6-2! How about a repeat of that one?
