I've a feeling this one's not even going to be close. We'll spank WHU. Sorry, I just think we will. We might even rack up a cricket score. Be worried..! please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
I'm expecting a match similar to the Leicester away game...plenty of chances for both sides, and if one team walks away with a win, the other will feel hard done by. 2-2 or 3-2 either way, and very entertaining.
This is going to be tough, very tough. Cole will be a handful for our CBs and Nolan's positioning between midfield and attack could expose us as we bomb forward. On the bright side, Almunia will be due a clanger by then.
Our allocation of tickets didnt reach general sale and alot of members missed out. Pretty good effort IMO
Under Adkins saints have only lost 2 games at home, one of which was against man utd. If we can keep this up then i think a play off place is guarenteed. As for west ham i believe it will be a tough game but it wil be your unbeaten away record to fall, not our home record.
Well with my record so far in the weekly prediction league, I had better be going for a 3-1 Hammers win. Am I the only one believing us at the top now is like a poisoned chalice?
For the famous scoreline West Ham 4 West Germany 2 (Wembley 1966 if you need reminding) the Hammers will always be my second team. These games were always unpredictable, but one thing I hope is that West Ham play the football for which they have always been known and we get a belter. 3-2 Saints will do me.
Brilliant effort! Should be a fantastic atmosphere, with two of the loudest sets of fans in the league! We should all get together and sing anti-Pardew songs Back to the match though... I'd be happy with a draw, not neccessarily disappointed with a defeat, but I wouldn't be in any way surprised if we won the game too! It's anyone's for the taking really, I also wouldn't be surprised to see the top four consisting of West Ham, Saints, Leicester and Middlesbrough come the end of the season. Come Onnnnn Youuu Reeeeeeeedssssssssssssss
Pardew was alright, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out that Nigels better at man management etc..
This is when the winning run at home comes to an end IMO. I'd take a draw, although I know we can beat them. 0-0 with West Ham missing a pen.
Never doubted WHU have got good support expected you to sell out...Saints play you in midweek next year..we will also sell our full allocation, we also have good support. Saints will beat WHU at St Mary's...don't know what the score will be but we will win!!
Gonna be a great atmosphere but we have another crucial game before this one, so if you don't mind Hammer, I'll ignore this thread for a while!
I reckon we'll beat them 1-0. Dan Harding to score with a close range tap in with his left peg. The referee will be diabolical too.
Yes, be good to get a rubbish ref, we've got so used to good ones (irony is good for Sundays). Though if we can choose, can we have the one we had for the Watford game? Most refs would not have given either penalty.
