Yup, I honestly look to appreciate players like Davis for being the spine/workhorse of every team but he's been easily our worst player for the last 3 weeks and anonymous for 3 before that. Replace him with tadic who screws up an equal amount but at least adds potential threat.
Yeah not slating Davis think he's a great player but he has been poor and very unlike himself in recent games. For his miss the problem for me wasn't his shot as his shooting has always been poor it was the fact he could have easily taken a touch to set up for a much easier finish, which is usually the kind of composure he brings to us. Seems a no brainer to get someone else on but we're not doing too badly and balance is important, in recent games we've struggled to find any whatsoever especially late in games just putting our most attacking players on the pitch and then completely losing shape. Tadic should be fine with how we're set up though.
That makes far more sense, given where the ball ended up. He has good qualities, but Davis might be the worst striker of the ball that I've ever witnessed.
Well, if you have a player unmarked from 12 yards and in, you kinda have to trust that they can do something with it, no matter who it might be.
Unless it's Davis. Who has found himself in those kind of positions over and over and has managed to do precisely nothing with it in 14 months.
