This was a much better save then it looked live. Brilliant agility to respond to the change-of-flight after the deflection. Think he's made a huge difference to our defence with his calmness.

Yeah I really don't understand that one. We won anyway, and have had plenty of tight calls go in our favour. But that doesn't stop that being a bizare decision, it's not even contentious, it's obvious.
Has anyone mentioned the fact that we completely reclaimed "our"song at the end? Boy that was loud, now run along home little spurs pretenders.
He has the potential to be the next SRL in all our hearts, he is well on the way to *legend status already. Next stop scoring for England, do we play the Sweaties any time soon? *What am i saying?..he is already a legend for the brace at Nottarf...
And his celebrations - they weren't just goals, they were daggers in the hearts of Skates everywhere. Danny is a Saints fan
This may have been mentioned elsewhere, but the upturn in Saints' fortunes exactly counterpoints (ooh, there's posh) Lawro's predictions of how many we would lose by, each match. The only problem with this is that Lawro will probably predict us to beat Huddersfield, and I was looking forwards to a good run in the FA Cup
Just watched - amazed they didn’t show Redmond block on Moura; neither did motd!! Only seen on Sky Sports highlights. In real time at from Northam end looked ****ing brilliant. Must admit I’m usually very critical of Redders back tracking & tackling but that was fantastic Brilliant team performance overall.
That was Sissoko I believe, who’s about twice James’ size. He’s really developed his nasty side under Ralph. Before long he’ll be our very own Mark Noble...
JWP crunched Moussa Sissoko and he definitely felt it. He clearly didn't want any more of it and backed right off after that. Our tackling was hard and uncompromising yesterday and if that is a sign of what is to come for the rest of the season, happy days. It was also great to see how solid everyone was. It was just an all round brilliant performance. I still have that brilliant Mourinho chant ringing round in my head
JWP has put in some hard tackles recently....willing to take one for the team. Always a Saint, but perhaps no longer a saint.
It was weird hearing the Palace fans boo him, for anyone who didn't remember the incident last season they must be thinking 'but he's angelic, he's the least boo-able player in the league' !
When was he really a saint? He has always had a hard edge to him, but it has come out more and more the last two years. He hides it with his good manners and intellect, but he is a (shhh) tough little Portsmouth lad at heart! I love watching him niggling away. And his tackles are full on without being dangerous. Good stuff.
