    Cool. Don't suppose you'd like to point out when in the McMenemy era we got promoted, did well and then went down, would you? I think you'll find we came up with you lot ( no that's ok, don't thank us for that day), did alright, then did very well before losing McMenemy. Lawrie was clever enough to lower expectations by getting relegated first.

    Won the FA Cup, got promoted, nearly won the double, stayed in the top division for 27 years. Terrible times for us. :)

    Sorry if that sounded cocky, it wasn't meant to. Bale left us and look, we found others, found form and brushed 4th twice before settling in to it. I seriously don't know why you brought Spurs into my comment about Southampton.

    I can only post things as I see them, NONE of what I posted was meant as criticism.

    Not a problem mate, we're just a bit touchy at the moment. Plus we weren't ever a yo-yo club with McMenemy, so it was a wee bit factually wrong!

    I never said you were a you yo club, I said you went down with LM and I think up and down since. Doesn't matter, happy Christmas to all Saints supporters.

    For the record. We went down in Lawrie's first season, came back up 5 years later and never went down with him again. 27 years after that we went down in 2005 and have been back since 2012. Not relegated since.
