FFS step down Jenkins and get rid of that useless manager before it is too late......The commentators on talk sport say we are the worst premiership team they have seen in a long time and there will be no argument from me.....Terrible football again and we have Man city twice , Liverpool and Arsenal up next.........We have not scored a first half goal in the prem all season and have only had 2 corners in two games and as usual our manager praises the saints and said they deserved their win........Get rid now.....

I can understand that, our football is not pleasant to watch anymore, something will give soon enough, by the time I come back from Crete, I expect us to be in the drop zone, lets see how the Yanks react to that..........<ok>

In our first season up in the Premier League we went the first four games without even scoring and picked up only 2 points but I felt a lot more positive then than I do now. It would be typical of us to now go and get something from Man City next week, but just don't see it happening. Feel very sorry for those that travelled to watch the Southampton game, didn't seem like there was any ambition from us to take the game to them, and this a Southampton team winless this season, till today.

Sorry its so long but I got so much to say in this

Guidolin is already making scapegoats of the players by miss-directing blame their way.

"Southampton deserved to win. For us it was not a good performance. We have to change our attitude - we have to play well and be more aggressive, and this is reason why Southampton won today"

So, Southampton hammered us because the players had a bad attitude, didn't play well and weren't aggressive. Yep, its all the players fault and nothing to do with his non existent game plan or how he'd prepared them or how he'd set them up with an invisible formation with incomprehensible tactics,.or how he backed up his brilliant plan with idiotic substitutions. No, it was all the players fault.

Imo, Guidolin, the Great Denier, is in mental turmoil and is reacting to his poor management by trying to stamp his authority on the players and by denying all responsibility for what's going on. "I don't know" is the catch phrase he hides behind.

He seems to know though when he feels he's been disrespected. Ki played crap, along with everyone else, yet Guidolin's concern was more with his attitude towards him when pulled, he didn't shake his hand, and not with his play.

Guidolins says....."This is not a good attitude. I have to speak with him"...and another interview....."I can understand Ki's disappointment, but it's not a good situation"

Guidolin's concern was not with his poor game plan, loose formation and zero discernible tactics, bt with Ki's apparent snub. Guidolin is responding to poor performances imo, stamping his authority on the players. I doubt we'll see Ki for a while, which is a good thing because it forces Guidolin to play Britton, when he should have been playing him in place of Ki anyway.

Continuing this stamping authority theme, Guidolin apologizes on live TV to Taylor, enhancing his 'good guy' image. He tells the media he has spoken with Taylor and he has no problem with him. Taylor subsequently denies talking to him and is dropped from the squad.

This rash decision left us with no cover at left back on Saturday yet, incredulously, Kingsley, our best full-back, is pulled and an out of form Naughton is moved to cover him. Guidolin pulls the only player on the field he has no direct cover for?!?!? what a twat.

This shows Guidolin not only to be clueless but also dangerous. It shows me he is prepared to place his ego ahead of his team and make decisions based on his authority and not what's necessarily good or right for the team.

"I respect all people, all my players because the relationship is the most important thing for me" Guidolins idea of respect is turning out to be a one way street in my opinion.

In public he is actively developing a media persona of the 'good guy'. The story he is attaching to himself is of the good guy let down by all around him; players, assistants. He feigns innocence by hiding behind regular repetition of his catch phrase "I don't know".

In reality, he has to know but is a great denier. He denies responsibility for poor performances by blaming his players. He is denies his players have little faith in him by admonition their attitude when they don't shake his hand. He denies all knowledge of why we are not performing through his catch phrase "I don't know", even though, as fekking coach and manager, he does. He denies responsibility for poor performances by tagging his players and assistants with the blame.

"Now is not a good moment [no **** Sherlock]. To know why, I have to speak with players, my assistants - it is our job."

So, HE, the manager and coach, doesn't know why we are playing abysmally and must ask the players? and his assistants? because they know why, not him ergo, its their fault, not his.

He goes on to says.."its OUR job"
....not MY job as manager and coach, but OUR job and the human shield is set.

If you read between his lines he is playing the blame game already and is deflecting responsibility away from himself onto everyone around him, tagging them with his failings. With his style of management the buck stops everywhere except with him, he can't be blamed for any of it of course, because he is a good guy who has been let down by everyone around him and also because, here comes his catch phrase again....

    "I DON'T KNOW".

But we do, don't we? Guidolin Out, NOW

Guys, Guidolin got lucky with a few results last season in games we were out played and they missed a hatfull of chances. We were playing exactly the same last season as we are this, same old taking a midfielder off and putting on a defender, not trying to win games but hanging on for a 0-0 and hoping we may sneak something on the break (even at home), then we won a couple of games at the end of the season and the majority of fans forgot how woeful we had been since he arrived and got taken in by those results, well the board fell for it as well and where we got lucky last season we wont this year. So the board got exactly what they deserve for not seeing through 2 or 3 tidy performances a manager who is clueless, has no influence in the changing room, is not a leader, has zero tactics, we continue with him and we are on our way to the Championship.

Hard to disagree with the above posts. Getting bad results and playing poorly is one thing but when a rift develops between the Manager and the players, as seems to be the case, it's game over.

Kingsley was pulled off because of a stomach complaint not tactically agree with most of the rest.

Jenkins is not helping the cause either, He cant fail to see we are not playing the traditional Swansea way that he has always advocated......You have to ask the question Why has Jenkins enthusiasm gone these past couple of seasons and why has he appointed himself the chief scout for the club by choosing players that HE wants and not what the club NEEDS and why has he let key players leave before their replacements.....Apart from Guildo Jenkins has become a massive problem for the Swans....

Started off as a good day. Usual stop over in Winchester at Wetherspoons "The Old Gaol House". A large breakfast for £4.95 and a pint of John Smiths for £1.99 set us up nicely. Atmosphere before the match was optimistic due to Saints poor league form and the selling of their best players Graziano/Pelle/Mane. We basked in the late summer sun watching our players warming up, although the seating was so cramped we could hardly move. The positivity soon changed after kick off and Southampton started to run rings round us as we sat back and tried to defend. Everybody could see our formation wasn't working and we were getting over run down the left side and murdered in midfield. How it was 0-0 at half time was a miracle. Second half more of the same as our manager seemed as mesmerised as our players. Montero came on for Ki after 66 mins but still chance after chance went begging for the Saints and it was only a matter of time before they scored. Austin came on, first he hit the bar then, unmarked, he had time to chest down the ball and knock it into the net. How it wasn't 5 or 6-0 was surprising as they were so dominant. We woke up in the final ten minutes and Baston made his debut on 82 mins for Cork. Gylfi had a low shot well saved and that was it. Saints first league win of the season and the first time in 17 games they hadn't conceded. Worrying times.
