Slightly odd half this. We've been dominant, looked dangerous and should probably be ahead but at the same time it's not as though Fabianski has made save after save.
Great half, good football being played - but now, in the wise words of Jeremy Kyle: "PUT SOMETHING ON THE END OF IT!"
Not going to complain about the lack of end product, because Swansea deserves some credit there...their back line has made a number of last-ditch interventions to prevent likely scoring chances. Keep going and it'll come.
Not worried. Keep playing like this and we'll win. If Swansea come back into it, change shape a bit and bring Mané on to play behind Pellé.
We don't always get the same possession as last season, but we win more often. We are dominating here, but if you don't score you leave yourself open to a single error resulting in a goal. Swansea have already had one good chance. I think I'm going under the duvet for the 2nd half. COYR
Against a team like Swansea we have to take the clear cut chances, won't be many but have to take them
Elia, Bertrand and Pelle are playing very well. Reed's defensive contribution is huge. JWP is a bit underwhelming, struggles to make any significant impact in tight spaces he operates in. If the result stays the same for a further 20 minutes, I'd change him for Mane, leave Tadića and Elia on the wings, while Mane would play off Pelle. It would be a really offensive formation, but maybe worth a risk.
