Good to see Ralph’s diplomacy slipping, getting absolutely shafted by ****e decisions in a way we haven’t seen before. We have undoubtedly been poor recently, but without crap reffing there wouldn’t have been 6 straight defeats, we would have picked up points at Villa and today at least.
He's had us on the receiving end of two - ****, I can't even bring myself to type it, you know what I mean - and now we've lost 6 league games on the bounce. The record speaks for itself, and it's saying "don't even look". Yet I still think he's easily the best manager we've had since Koeman, if not the best since we got back to the PL. Can I explain or make any sense of that? Not really, no. Except that I very much doubt any other manager would be able to get much improvement out of this squad of misfits and nearly men.
Yep same here, seriously considering not watching the Chelsea match.....I am getting wound up over inept officiating.
The Bertrand handball decision which against us today wasn't on the same level as the Cash one which went against us. The latter was horrific, and should have been overturned by VAR all day long. But today's one was still bad. It's never a penalty against Bertrand in my opinion. Scott should not be giving that. However, we were so poor in the second half, that we deserved to lose. For all we dominated the first half, Wolves dominated the second half even more. We never made it back out of the dressing room. Yet again none of our subs had an impact on the game (although mitigating circumstances for the final change). Djenepo in particular was yet again useless. And once Redmond was moved into midfield (for the second game running, I was happy with what I saw from him alongside Ings), he too retreated completely into his shell.
It still think it could've worked without the constant tinkering of confusing rules but it's time to bin it now.
I think there's plenty of positives but it's a bit hard to see them when we've just been shafted, yet again, by atrocious officiating, and yes, bad luck. I take the point about luck, but I think we're due a turn around there soon.
