At this rate Isgrove will be playing ahead of Mane.

 

We have anyone on the bench that can come on for Mane in the 2nd half? Anyone. He's winding me up. Want him to be good, and he tries, but he's slowing down and stopping all our promising moves.

 

I just knew you would post having a dig at Mane.

 

Mane has potential, just hope he shows it.

Hey??? I thought Mane was good in that half? Am I watching a different game? He's terrifying them and some of his touches have been fantastic. Final ball not quite there, but how can he seriously be getting slated?

 

I don't think the slowing things down is the problem. Its the way he can't turn without falling over, tries to take 4 players on when the pass is the better option. Tries to pass when the dribble is the better option and the way he just looks like he is chasing shadows rather than pressing. Other than that he's been really good

Tadic hasn't been brill either and Pelle has been telling them both.

Davis has been superb for me.

 

He is a confidence player. He is trying too much, all he has to do is carm down a little.

Heh. Two Man Utd changes in the first half. They may not have any subs left to bring on in the last half hour!

 

I think mane has been alright. He's causing problems and unsettling their defence. Just needs a bit better touch from time to time. I like him.

 

He's swopped places with Long for me. I thought Long would be the one that was the headless chicken with not much end product and Mane would be a stunning signing. So far it is looking the other way round.

 

Mane is raw, he just needs to settle down.

 

I think Mané was growing in confidence towards the end of the half. If he had scored that header it would have been great. Long should have scored too. We should be at least 3-1 ahead, but plenty of time. They only have one sub left too.

 

Haha I thought about this, this has definitely worked in our favour!
Thought we've looked very good, for me everyone has played well (even Fonte, who I think has played very well apart from that moment), although I'm a bit concerned about Mane. His touch is so poor, but sometimes his pace and tenacity can make up for it. I think he's always going to be a confidence player, just hope Koeman can get some consistency out of him.
