Liverpool mate sent me this, this morning. Made me chuckle. 'Dad, it's been 80 minutes, do we have to keep booing?' 'Yes, look here comes Lallana. A fresh one. Boooooooooo' 'What's the point, though?' 'Just f*cking do it' https://footballburp.com/jokes/the-best-southampton-jokes-as-summer-exodus-continues/
I can't wait to see Ings play on Friday. He's my favourite player, and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't care much about Saints. So glad he's back in the team now.
Friday, 5th April 2019 20:00 Southampton v Liverpool Referee: Paul Tierney Assistants: Stuart Burt, Darren Cann Fourth official: Graham Scott Not the best Referee in the World!
I can’t wait to see the link-up play between Ings and Redmond on Friday, I have a feeling they will tear Lovren apart. Ings’ movement is exactly what Liverpool struggle to deal with so we will have an excellent chance of getting something from the match with him in the team.
I was just guessing going by the "fields of Anfield Road" song and the special relationship with Celtic, but I defer to your greater knowledge on the subject mate.
I don’t have any knowledge really, just recall reading it somewhere. Seems to have been something that had it’s roots in successive waves of Irish immigration in the 19th and 20th centuries, not sure how much substance there is to any of it nowadays... https://www.toffeeweb.com/season/18-19/comment/fanscomment/37054.html
The thing to remember is that we may need a miracle on Friday, and being Saints there is no reason why we shouldn’t get one
I am gonna check with my old mate Jim Magilton. He has just been sacked as Ipswich manager, but don't say anything, it's not official yet.
