Saints v Wolves thread well after all that false optimism in the last thread which after 7 minutes of the game became a torrent of abuse and despondency we move on to Wolves. We must forget the Mane hat-trick, the JWP own goal, the VVD 95th minute header and Gunns sending off and look ahead! Ings is back! (still reckon we could nick this one though)
I love it how the entire blue side of Liverpool and every single Man Utd and Man City is just praying for us to turn over Liverpool. My Everton supporting mate is hoping that we win by a goal that would absolutely be ruled out by VAR, but will be given tonight
I’m hoping for a decent stream for this game, but might watch without the commentary. The constant fawning over Klopp is enough to make me reach for the sick bucket, but listening to commentators having an virtual w*** at the thought of Salah and/or Firmino reaching 50 Premier League goals for Liverpool, might just push me over the edge. How many times will we hear, when talking about a Liverpool player, “There was contact, so he was entitled to go down”, and how many times, when talking about a Saints player, will we hear “There was contact but he went down too easily”? Just do it Saints. Gate crash the Liverpool love in, spoil the party and take a piss in their celebratory punch bowl. COYRs
Right, so what's everyone's dream scenario? - Liverpool take the lead in the first half through Mane. - Prowsey equalises with a free kick just inside the second half. - Substitute Lallana dives to win a penalty in the 86th minute - Milner has it saved with Redmond scoring from the resulting counter attack. Ralph celebrates by doing a Klinsmann in front of Klopp. - Virgil has a 94th minute goal wrongly disallowed for offside, and picks up a second yellow for arguing the decision. - Full time and most of the country simultaneously piss themselves laughing. - Libby goes on loan to the Liverpool board for the rest of the season.
This is a free hit for us tonight and I hope Saints are dogged and give Liverpool a run for their money. Points are what we need and I am feeling relaxed about tonight, so long as we pack the midfield well. Just stay in it to win it.
If that happens with a win for us I do have genuine concerns that I'll never be able to stop laughing.

Good mobile team though feel a little sorry for Armstrong as he has made an impact creativity wise, however he is not so good defensively.
Surprised considering his lack of pace but I guess in a back 3 it's potentially not too much of an issue.
