I was there when Benali scored. Amazing moment, great header and you could tell he wasn’t considered a threat by the fact no one was even close to marking him.
Vardy needs 1 goal to become the player with the most goals scored, since turning 30 years old. Currently level, on 93 goals, with Ian Wright, Wright, Wright. Amazing achievement but please don’t let him (or any Leicester player) score tonight.
I can’t remember, either at the front under the Western stand, or more likely at the Milton Road End. Depends if my mother was there, she liked something to lean on and liked being as close as possible to David Webb’s thighs.
I'd take a draw from tonight just to steady the ship again but we certainly could win it if we take our chances and keep it tight at the back. I'd expect Ralph to return to his favoured formation and I think Redders will start and Che and AA will continue up front. 2-1 Saints with AA and JWP scoring.
That's the daughter and her bloke on the ferry back to Harwich from Hook of Holland. They cooked us a smashing Christmas dinner Sunday, nice way to kick off the festive season lovely to see them. Ah kick off, apparently, there's a match tonight vs Steptoe and his foxy chums. All we have to do is score more goals than the opposition which makes us the winners collecting three points. Has anyone told Ralph?
Whilst six points from this home double-header would obviously be ideal, I think it's more in the "possible" category than the "likely" category. I certainty think it's too high to be a target. Four points would leave me satisfied (hence a draw tonight is fine), and even three points I would find acceptable. But less than that would be concerning. I presume we'll revert to a back four, and with it I wonder if Bednarek, not Lyanco, will be the one to make way. It's not been Jan's season so far at all, and I thought he was very lucky not to see red on Saturday.
Draw tonight is a decent result for sure. Leicester are certainly a better side than us so you would always be happy enough with a point. Agree that we should be looking at 3 points from Leicester and Brighton, a draw today then beat Brighton would be bloody lovely.
Weather is terrible tonight, just leaving now, starting to think l should have watched it on Prime... l hope the team turn up tonight like us fans!
I've not been feeling well last couple of days (non-covid) so will be giving this one a miss. Amazon Prime for me tonight.
McCarthy Livramento Bednarek Salisu KWP Armstrong JWP Romeu Redmond Armstrong Adams Is what I’m hoping for! (I’ve not followed any team news so not sure if anyone’s ruled out?)
