I managed to freeze the video of the moment he struck the ball - definitely not his shin. Also, if you look at the angle of his leg when he strikes the ball there's no way the ball ends up in the top corner if he shins it!
Amazing. Almost a year ago to the day we were all frothing at the mouth for NJ to be sacked with arguments back and forth over who was right about his appointment and how ****ing awful the club were for appointing him. A year on, on the back of the best set of results in our life times and we're arguing over which part of our player the ball hit when he scored a ****ing worldy. ****ing love it
Depends how you look at it. Between league 1 and our return to the champ we won 19 home games in a row. Only on 11 now! So, for the home faithful, this is not YET the best run.
Saturday's performance was incredible. I was amazed how poor we were in the second half yet the second half felt like a cup tie. If we can come back in such fashion, I think we can do anything. Shame that the promotion will hinge on a play -off for one team. Leicester, Leeds and Saints are better than the others albeit I think Ipswich have done well.
