I will judge him - if I have to stand up when he arrives 5 minutes after kick-off, leaves his seat 5 minutes before half time, comes back 5 minutes after the 2nd half kicks off, and then leaves 5 minutes before the end, when we’re hanging on grimly to a one goal lead.

We’ll probably break down a few times this season

Funnily, at the West Ham game I went down just before half time as needed a pee. I had hoped I would last till the end of the game, but from the 65th minute I was desperate, so finally on 82 I went down for a pee. Everyone was groaning as they thought I was leaving early. Back at my seat at 85 and all I got was "Don't know why you bothered, we won't score in another 90 mins"

    Fans are funny people.

Its like at the cinema. No matter where I sit, I see to be at the main junction for the auditorium.
Why I go in early each time I can't fathom!

Interesting analogy though. Isn't it weird how people won't leave a cinema early, when you normally know what is going to happen (Bad guy gets stuffed by good guy), but at a football match where anything can happen they do.

It's about time we had another " arriving late, leaving early" post and just squeezing one in before the end of the year too <ok>.
It's a pet hate of mine and if people here sat near to the steps they would probably understand why. It's not just one or two, it's loads and it's every game, they're a pain in the backside.

Leaving before the match has ended is beyond my comprehension. I was still in the stadium when Leicester's 9th goal went in and I have fewer moments in the bag to waste than most of you.

Perhaps seats should be designated at the ends of rows for early leavers. On the other hand if they really want to avoid the traffic why bother to come at all?

I'd prefer the leavers money in the coffers. Do what they want then.

I'm afraid daddy duties means I have to leave the game at 75 minutes today... I feels dirty and I apologise in advance.

Arrived 10 minutes late to the film Sliding Doors! Sat there and didn’t have a clue what was going on and by the end of it wished the lady at the ticket office had told me not to bother!

Hojbjerg, Obafemi, Lemina, Elyounoussi would have been slightly more current!

Yes it would, but I miss Egil, and too much use of Obafemi is likely to have resulted in an injury.
