Thats the biggest crucial problem with Ralph tbh. I love him and have been backing him, but his substitutions cost us. Most games. Leaves them far too late and seemingly picks them out of a hat. Needs to start impacting games with his tactics
I would just like to politely tell the Ralph outers to **** right off. Silly foul, worse decision to rush back and play them onside.
On the bright side we are unlikely to have to worry about a new manager or any new players while the club is in financial limbo. Just enjoy the bang average football and accept it is what it is.
Agreed, We're defending OK and creating chances which is down to coaching. The fact our forward players wasted so many chances AGAIN, gave Brighton hope. They should gave been dead and buried by half time and a last minute consolation wouldn't have been an issue.
****ing hell that is just so so so so so bad. Saints always find new ways to kick you in the heart don’t they. 99th minute when we should have comfortably won that
Unbelievable mismanagement of the last 15 minutes, playing against ten men, unable to pass to each other, unable to clear the ball and wtf was JWP doing? Not surprised really as we only play for 45 minutes in virtually every game, playing in the second half is just a dream
We had diallo on the bench, could have come in and solidified midfield when overrun. Just shambles really
Could mean we try and buy a keeper in January if they are both out for a long time, which I think most people would be happy with
No, they'd have probably won it 2-1. Those extra two points would have been such a nice buffer. As it is we still have to look over our shoulder rather than up at the top half. As much as we have shown recently that we can f*ck it up royally against teams we should be beating, I'm still confident enough to say that we can go to places like Arse and Palace these days and get something. Missing Romeu will be a massive blow, but I'm not as bothered as I once would have been regarding Salisu. He's a beast for sure, but he has shown signs of sloppiness lately. Also will be good for the pair of them to get a rest. Oh, and McCarthy had a great game again. Always seems to slide under the radar when that happens. EDIT: Just seen the news re: Macca. F*CKKKKKK!!!!!!
