That should be a goal for Walcott becauswe I think the free kick would have gone in so its a deflected shot

Seriously, replace Sagna with Jenkinson. Sagna has been poor... as have many others.

Edit: We don't even have Jenkinson on the bench or an adequate RB. Great.

Why do referees keep penalising Jack for great tackles?!

This team just struggles to consistently perform.

Whenever we build up some momentum it falls apart with a lacklustre performance.

Wenger needs a word with the team at half time.

Would have been another good finish from Walcott.

Southampton have been by far the better team, can't play like that in the second half

Wow, that was painful to watch, other than the lucky own goal that went our way, we have been terrible, some of the worst football I've seen.

That's three Southampton players that have scored for us this season.

Watching the goal again, it's more about the quality of Walcott's delivery than anything else. He whipped it in with the perfect pace, the Southampton player had no choice but to go for it because Kos was behind him and had an easy to chance to bury.

How many will we have to score to win today, considering the bunch of comedians we have at the back, have to add also the back line have no cover in front of them either, teams just waltz past our midfield,we have no DM cover at all.

Played better last 5 minutes but been a poor half. Rosicky is needed to add pace and tenacity to midfield
    Sagna has been atrocious

You guys probably expected me, so here I go:

We saw a Southampton defense that is most definitely not shambolic or sparse, hence Walcott isn't working... Wilshere and Cazorla are looking forward through the middle and seeing a faint silhouette of Walcott between 3 defenders, and saying to themselves "you've got to be kidding me". They have no one to link up with through the middle, so everything goes through the wide where it ends up with, guess what, a high cross into the area with only Walcott in there.

Bring Giroud in, Oxo out, Walcott on the right.

Unless their defense let's their guard this won't work.

Podolski has been so lazy in this game. None existent in the first half.

How many times does Martin Tyler have to remind us that the goal was "fortunate " ?

Worryingly, every time we've put in these pathetic first half performances this season it hasn't improved the second half...
