Same boat for me. Couldn't care less. Gabbiadini signing tomorrow. Another player before the window shuts. Hopefully a win at Swansea on Tuesday. Oh and the case of the Arch!
Bugger. Shame this game came so soon after our triumph. Not a great way to to follow such an incredible performance against pool. Puel could of played a stronger side, but I suspect not too worried about this competition and we are so thin on the ground anyhow.
Great to finally get a good result against you boys at St Mary's. Kind of makes up for that 4-0 loss now. Good luck for the rest of the season
Cheers man. You guys were really good! If you play Manchester United between now and the 26th February, would you mind stepping on some of their toes? Preferably Zlatans.
Your choice to make what you want of it. My wife even asked me earlier why I was so chilled. I said I 100% understand the team selection. The record books will show that we are out of the FA Cup in the 4th round to Arsenal. At the end of this season, not one person will be lamenting this game. They will either be lamenting a cup final loss, or remembering a cup final victory. I really do not understand fans getting irate or agitated by today. Ps. He may have just been resting them, not resting them for Tuesday.
From the musings around social media people who went are peeved by the rolling over. No game for any manager is a 'free hit' as it were, but anyone wanting Puel out after that needs their head checking. On to Swansea!
My only complaint is that we should have rested more players. I mean, there were names out there that I recognize.
