Chelsea were much better 5+ years ago with Terry, Carvalho, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Robben, Drogba etc
Better as a team, but they have some top top players in their team. The obvious edge that the previous team had was at the back, which was more organised, but then again, they did win the league last year, so their players can't have become rubbish overnight. Half of their players could walk into any Premiership side in my opinion. Don't confuse their rubbish form for being rubbish players, they have some of the best players in the world. Off the top of my head, I would take any of following for Arsenal Matic, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa, Willian, Oscar, Ramirez and Pedro.
Oscar and Ramires are so average. The only top class player there is Hazard but I'll also take Matic. That's about it.
