Even if the fire is out it will be smoking for a fair while after. Depending on what was burned it could be called off due to fears its toxic. If the structure of the building is in doubt they may call it off for that too. Bloody hope not. The last thing we need is more fixture congestion.
For the sake of the Preston fans travelling down, if it is off, hopefully they call it sooner rather than later.
I would say looking at that it is 90% off. No way that gets cleared up in time.I needs to be clear by 3-4pm at the latest
Absolutely right, people before football is the only option. For many PNE fans though they would have left by now. Let’s hope no one is injured and that those who are closely affected will get all the support and help they need.
Another Plus is that I am working UK hours today because of the game, so finish in 3 hours rather than 5
Agreed. I for one am glad I live in a country which prioritizes safety. Some countries would go **** it, let's play the game.
Yep and not only do they need to make sure there fire is out, they need to make sure it won't reignite, there are no toxic fumes and there is access to the area for the emergency services. That sort of fire will also put hot ash into the air that may cause an issue with surrounding buildings smouldering away after a few hours.
