We need the fighting spirit of Ukraine tonight. Vastly outgunned against a confident opponent, Southampton have been doing well recently. It would be nice to have some more content from Duncan rather than the contents of his pram. Anyway.... Southampton have only lost one game in their past 11 earning a win against Everton last time around. Within their run they even earned a draw against Man City and Man Utd, they have only lost once at home all season, saying that though seven of the games have finished in draws. Southampton will again be without the services of Nathan Tella, Alex McCarthy and Lyanco through injury, but Romain Perraud is available following an illness. Tim Krul, Lukas Rupp and Jacob Sorensen have returned to training for Norwich, but Idah and Omobamidele are still out. If we do manage to win, we would actually do the double over someone this season! COYY! OTBC!
Our record at their place - The Dell or St Mary's makes me quake in my boots. It's never a game that I look forward to
After Smith's press conference yesterday, was hoping Krul would be back in goal for tonight's game - hope he can make it for the Brentford match
Are we playing at all tonight?? seems to be all southampton, don't think we've had a shot on target so far in the first half-hour
Now Saints are 1 up hope it wakes us up and we start to get a few shots of our own on target and even score
