Know that the sarcasm is so thick here that it couldn't be cut with a chainsaw, but it's a great example of the fact that (within reason, though 10-0-0 won me a World Cup in Football Manager) there's no such thing as a negative formation, just negative approaches. There are managers who use 5-3-2 variants that are frankly suicidal in their attacking intent (such as Roberto Martinez's Wigan was, at times), and those that use it very conservatively.
