Gabbi/Ings given a run of games will work okay. Gabbi/Obafemi or Gabbi/Long wouldn't be the end of the world. Austin can piss off and sit in the pub talking about how he used to be a Premier League striker though.
We certainly didn’t deserve more than a point, but there were a few positives. Gabbi had a great game, as did Redmond. Lemina and Højbjerg were solid, although Pierre was giving it away too much. Yoshida and Hoedt did well, but Bertrand and Cedric were awful.
Give Targett a run of games and strip Bertrand of the captaincy for ****s sake. What Hughes was doing making him captain I do not know. He has as much leadership as a donkey.
Lemina was good today. 1-1 is a fair result. Can’t really criticize Hughes or the team. That was actually a competent (not the officials), somewhat entertaining match. We played a little better, just Watford was a little better as well. This would be a game I normally wouldn’t be upset about, but given our situation yeah... not so great. Hopefully the players see the bright side and focus on the fact that played better and results will eventually come. I mean, not a lot of results, but enough to keep us up. We were better than relegation level today.
Depends how badly Ings is injured doesn't it :s. Still not sure who the alternative is to Hughes that is going to have a big impact.
Over the season I think he has been, and played well today. I’m going for Yoshida MOTM on principle though.
Everyone says how well Redmond has played so far this season, but he’s assisted 0 and scored 0? For an attacking midfielder who’s playing “well” that is shockingly piss poor which ever way you look at it. And when those are the stats for the players we see as playing well I’d ****ing hate the see the stats for the lads that have been bad! No wonder we’re in the ****!
He's been poor the last couple of times I've seen him, only saw the second half in and out today though.
I take your point, but he’s consistently threatening and creates opportunity pretty much every game. Just we aren’t terribly good at finishing them off.
