B&B, you can be sure that the Gov. were feeling they were in an awkward position and the purpose of the review was to come to only one conclusion. So the panel would have been selected and guided to reach that one conclusion.
I don't know how I feel about this evening, which is usually a good sign. I don't feel confident (which usually precedes a defeat) and I don't feel worried (which usually precedes a defeat). I'm very keen that we beat them, because I like winning, because I want to erase the Villa defeat, because I want to get back to winning ways quickly, and because they pulled a fast one with the Covid rules, and that pissed me off. And there's a fair few bellends on Twitter too (though we have our fair share as well, no doubt). So yeah, we'll ****ing smash them... EDIT: Oh, and the entitled level of whinging about Mike Ashley, who is no doubt a bellend, but who did actually spend comparative (to us) wads of cash grinds my gears too. I have liked Newcastle as a club though, and I generally like their fans (the current ownership of course doesn't get included in this). But still. Sod that. I'm a bit worried about RTM having been disrupted, though that's been focussed on the cup competition. I like Tom's subtle attempt to reintegrate it here though, as it's not his first thread of the season. Interesting move and may well work.
Unfortunately I’m going out to play now, enjoy the game all. Note: this applies to fans of Southampton FC only.
