@taff - I'm not sure it'll make much difference at this point, we're really up against it right now! Maybe even a bit extra motivation.

We are short on match winners plus our best key players out. Ash,,Ki and now siggs, We are right up against it at the moment but most teams go through this type of thing and come through it so we will. the club is working hard to recruit players and im sure everything will be fine in the end, We have a few games to play with before we get to the stage of panic so we will just have to do our best until we get our key players back and get our new players and possible players up to speed and jelled with the rest of the team......gomis has to show what he can do because if he had put away just a few of the chances he has had then we would not be going overboard on here talking about going down. .That wont happen this season whatever anyone thinks...KTF

I think this is going to be a tough game for us. We are going to win 3-1, this after having only eight players left on the field. Goals by Montero, Carroll and a long range effort by Fabianski. Ref a bit peed off because the pea in his whistle wouldn`t work properly. Gomis drives straight to London, to Pardew`s house and starts waving a Je T`aime banner at him all night. Monk applauded as he buys out all the shareholders and sells all the shares to the nicest person in Saudi Arabia.

I fear we could be on the arse end of another heavy defeat. We so need Ki back and the addition of Cork may just be enough to get us through to the end of the season. This will be another lesson and fear a 4 goal drubbing.

Watched a video from yesterday's training session - I hope it wasn't representative of what's going on! If it is,anything better than a bit of a thumping will be decent. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I think we'll be well beaten and won't score. 2 - 0 but only because they miss a few sitters.

Monk will show no tactical nous and blame it on the media for unsettling the squad.

I don't care who the ref is we are going to get hammered imo. I can't remember the last time I felt so negative about my team. Poor team selections (Monk hasn't got much to play with this time); poor tactics, poor subs, terrible mistakes that gift goals, no concentration from the players who give the ball away for fun and an opposition that are excellent at home? Yes we're in for it. <sorry>

If anyone thinks we'll get a result then I admire your optimism and I really hope the lads prove me wrong. Mark Ronson has us down for a win though so that's something!! :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Why so negative the Express is reporting Garry Monk is putting his faith in Jonjo. <ok>

KTF , we're not dead and buried ,new players in to give a lift and players returning from injury , a point would do nicely but 3 would be brilliant so 2-3 to us or a scabby 0-0 , either way I'd be happy

    What new players? Only Naughton.
It works both ways - for some, a good result will be new players give a lift, Monk has found better players.
a poor result - new players need time (like Taylor's come back), Monk building a team after having to get rid of poor players.
