Having reflected on the game, my initial thought given the lack of effort on the pitch was that Duff must have returned as Manager…..

The team selection suggested that Williams had decided that we were going to lose whatever side he selected and / or he had more than one eye on next week’s South Wales derby.

Whichever or whatever it was, surely Williams knows after this inept display that the players MUST turn up next Saturday.

Duff lost whatever support he had from the Jack Army after last year’s awful gutless display - I can take/accept a defeat when we go down ‘trying’.

Over to Luke and the players <ok>

Swansea City boss Luke Williams says defenders Harry Darling and Ben Cabango are doubts for Saturday's south Wales derby at Cardiff City…..

That 97 minutes of rubbish spoilt what was altogether a good trip down to Southampton with a lengthy refreshment stop in Winchester en route. Perhaps we should have stayed there? Was there any passion in our performance? None that I could see. Did most of the player seem to care? Not that I could see. Did any of our players win or try to win a tackle. not that I could see. In fact at the end of the game a few of the players came over with the manager not too close though for plaudits from the remaining Jack Army and scurried away quite quickly.... why dodnt the FA just cancel the Cup...then cubs dodnt seem to want the extra

With no return match for the likes of Tamworth to spurs to help thier coffers , there's little magic left in fa cup games !

If both are ‘really’ doubtful, then I would fear the worst ….

I was talking about this this morning... the cup doesn't hold the magic it used to, for me. Of course years ago there wasn't the TV coverage you get now and only the final was played at Wembley. I would watch the build up from the morning, right through. A touch of rose tinted specs but it just isn't quite the same any more. Plus you can count the clubs on one hand that can win it.

What about Kristian O Leary for Saturday as one of the centre backs?

That was a very much tongue in cheek comment...have you seen the size of him ? we wouldnt need another centre back.
Jokes aside LW is not making any friends by putting a dampener on everything. This is just like Duff SPEAK.

After stuffing the not so noisy neighbours for so many seasons , somethings gone very wrong here when a draw up there will be acceptable ffs ! No individual class in the team the usual keepers our best player, and I don't know if the managers just griffting the job ?

He’s a good lad is Kristian - I will always remember how nice he was to my late father when I took him into one of the lounges after a match. Kristian remembered my father from when Kristian and Trunds played for Neath.
