    I'd happily go along with that one.

    Many would mate, and you'd think the FA would see the opportunity for a few quid. Everyone wins.

    That's a good point, mate and something that I have noticed. He's leaping to early and by the time he meets the ball he's on his way down so he's then unable to get any power or direction on it. This could be largely down to the way our corners are being put in, not sure who's bright idea it is to send the ball into orbit before it lands beyond the back post, but it isn't working.

    Just whip the ****ing ball in with pace because we should be a real danger at set pieces this season, with Kone and Djib.

    Morning mackems. Major meltdown going on the Saints board and elsewhere. Apparently we should be confortably seeing off the likes of Soonland at St Marys - guess someone forgot to tell you lot that before the game.

    Anyway, 2 observations;

    1) Your keeper impressed. Did nothing wrong until the goal
    2) Jermain Defoe. Every ****ing time. Keep him fit and you'll always have a chance.

    Other than that, it was too ****ing and hot, & we were **** for long periods. Good luck for the rest of the season (except when you play us at yours).

    Thanks for that, mate.

    You have looked toothless this season, and until that improves your supporters have no right to think they should be seeing anybody off. I had us down for a 1-0 win yesterday and we came so close to achieving that.

    Good luck to you as well for the rest of the season. Especially at the SOL, you'll need it ;)

    Real frustration for me at the minute that, basically up and unders, even if you win that clean it's a hell of a job getting power and direction.

    Khazri's corners are lethal, Everton game a prime example causing mayhem, was tearing my hair out Boro game.

    Probably the best in the league, I reckon. I even had him down from scoring one or two this season straight from a corner. He nearly achieved it last season, by whipping them in viciously to the front post. He caused mayhem against Man Utd with his deliveries, as well.

    He's the only person in our squad that can put quality deliveries in on a consistent basis.

    But you can't pick a player to start if all he will give you are his corners or dead balls. Whilst I agree Watmore isn't the answer, he works bloody hard for the team which is what Khazri didn't do on Wednesday. He doesn't look fit at the moment. Not just talking about his weight, but his general demeanour on the pitch. Lens looks more bothered this season. Wonder if he's angling for a move or just didn't like Sam?

    I would like to see Januzaj Khazri Borini behind Defoe. That would give loads of options for swapping about. I think that line of three is our strongest part of the squad tbh. We have cover in there as well with lens, Watmore, Gooch. Sadly our most important part IMO is the one that currently involves Rodwell. Didn't do much wrong yesterday tbh but he just isn't going to be that player we all hoped he would!

    I think there's signs of life in Rodwell, his heads up, he seems to get about the park a bit more.

    Can't argue he's not going to be the lad that was vaunted but a useful player, maybe.
