Where's Fer? I didn't see or hear anything about him in that half. Traore and Henry have been two positives for us though.

I suspect that both Fer and Kranjcar are luxury players. We really can't play them together when everyone is fit imo.

Fer making some nice touches Nines. Henry playing very well. Austin should have done better with a chance at the end.

We're solid but if we had the likes of Remy up front we'd be one up IMO. Its a shame we lost him but there you go.

I thinkthe formation is 4-1-4-1 with Vargas playing wide on the left.

Austin is definitely upfront on his own.

0-0 is great, but what happened with Sandro?

Have we wasted a sub again by play an injured player?

Na Rhino, he took one square on the nut and was concussed. Vargas got smashed in the head too and is running around all bandaged up like a mummy

We are defending best I have seen so far this season. The issue today is no desire to move forward. Reminds me a bit of the wembley game....... Looking for something on the break - but it seems that we don;t know where each other are going to be - so balls played to people who aren't there and we get muscled off the ball. Henry and Traore our best players this half.

Was an angle - he could have chipped it - but ifs and buts and all that - took his best decision at the time I guess...

New Rules on head injuries ( concussion ) remember, the doctor now decides if player can continue not physio/bench or player so i assume he was concussed and not anything else.

Poor first 20 mins, but I think we're coming into this game. Southampton look much more comfortable in possession and have more time and options available to them. But we are in the game. Big chance for Austin just before half time. Traore looking decent. He and Henry are our stand out players this half. We need to find more time and space on the ball. Too often, a first time pass is ignored, a simple pass and instead we take a touch or 2 and end up pegged in. More decisive, more first touch. But we are doing ok.
