what about FA cup games on our way to the final? league matches will have to be put midweek to accomodate those
Never mind, I've been listening to Nigel's Norwich pre-match press conference and you could put your post on a different forum and it wouldn't phase me. The guy is calmness and positivity personified.
I reckon if we can keep you out for the first 30 minutes, it'll end up being a draw. Unfortunately I also think if you score two or more, you'll win. Last season, attack was definitely our best form of defence, but this season, its defence which is the best form of defence. However, we did prove on Saturday that we can play very well away from home and show guile and creativity when up against a team that were attacking us. I can't wait to see the game, as I think its going to be a cracker.
I admired ja606's attempt to keep it just like normal 606, but at the end of the day, a proper format like this is far better than the old 606 format. It wasn't so much of a move, as an upgrade.
Not quite on topic, but such a good article in a national newspaper (and clearly written with this match in mind) that I just had to share with all: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...rt-rise-of-the-rochdale-diamonds-8360509.html
Villa have put the pressure back on both of us now From what I have read about the villa reading game, if we both don't finish above those two we probably deserve o be back in the second tier
Thanks for that..very interesting. Don't know much about Holt (anything to be honest), but Rickie is described perfectly. Last season, he contributed far more than his goals. He is a fantastic player and unselfish. Never missed a penalty for us (but don't worry Norwich...we never get a penalty so your players can happily hit Lallana round the head with a cosh). Description of Lambert's personality is true...he looks like he will fall asleep during interviews. However, he has worked hard with Nigel and the coaches and is now a finely honed athlete.
What a good article. Two excellent players who have come a long way and tonight's game is quite a tribute to them both really. Norwich and Saints both owe Steve Parkin big style ! I bet he will be quite proud if he is watching these two do battle tonight.
