I think we are going to be really up for Anfield, Ramirez will want to put in a big performance, so will Lambert and Adkins will be fired up too I think!
Thing is we are bringing more teams into the relegation fight. We are now only 4 points off Liverpool!, if we continue how we have been playing recently we will be fine.
Eight points in four games is great, however you could also say we have managed to only win one of three winnable home games, two of which we should have definitely won. Good to see Ramirez is getting back to match fitness, is Cork going to manage 90 mins at Anfield too?
He's played by far the easier games, and with a more settled defence in front of him, that's hardly surprising. Save from Santon's header was great, but he's still in arrears for me.
we will beat liverpool imo. If Adkins thinks gazza is up to it that's fine by me, we can carry him I think. Bit disappointing to draw like that. Really hope shaw isn't injured. Thought the whole team was tired. Lots of positives though Lallana and puncheon are in the form of their lives, our defence looked good, Rickie wasn't injured, Cork and schneiderlin are class in the centre. Ramirez wan't firing today but still played some good balls particularl that cross from a freekick.
Everyone called it a stupid move at the time, and this just shows it. They have got some significant injuries though, so they'll probably recover. Shame Senegal aren't in the African Cup of Nations though. I'd hate to think what the compo on a contract that long'll be though.
I don't think we deserved to win this and we got a point against a solid team. I'll take that. On to Anfield
Regardless of goalkeeping errors, we did not do anywhere near enough to win the game. Our goal was a scrappy break that we got lucky with. Other than that we did very little. Fair result.
