we have no width .. so our mid are going central facing compact Saints.. so easy for them so far

 

what is Jose waiting to replace Young?

 

Martial should had been the one coming to create more width
Mkhitaryan moved Right .. he is not a winger and tend to cut inside

Had 'tough game' written all over it bro, happy with the 3 points. Been out all day mind couldn't tell you if I'd be happy with the performance.

Must be that or the united way is to score double the amount of goals that Chelsea manage. Not really sure.

 

You weren't at your best but won, sign of a good team that. Thought we played pretty well up until you scored and then you dominated the rest of the first half.

Second half we improved massively and should have got an equaliser really, saw plenty to be encouraged by from us and there's no disgrace in losing to you lot, think we're improving week by week.

Still think you lot will win the league this year, people are hyping about City scoring for fun but you're comfortably the most balanced side imo.

 

This. Although the jury's still out on whether united is as balanced as it should be.

The good thing is that last season it will have been a draw. Absolutely no doubt about it. 15 draws out of 38 with 10 of them at home is an incredible statistic. And if you are going for the title or even 4th place then a draw is as good as a defeat.

Winning under pressure is as important as winning in a canter. Sometimes that second goal doesn't come. I am rather surprised and disappointed that United just lost their bottle in the second half rather than play the counter to get that 2nd goal. He still should have brought on Martial rather than Smalling for Rashford. But in the end he got 3 points so he was right.

Last season we were unnecessarily dropping points and we were not beating the top 6 sides. We seem to have sorted the former but we will have to wait until the RS match to see whether we can do the latter. Knowing JM he will be pragmatic and go for 4 points in the 2 matches against such teams: draw away and win at home.
