Gallagher was the yoof you forgot. Maybe we at last get a chance to see Gaston and Dani in the same line up second half. Bring it on.
You can't really blame them. The pressure is off for a change so that could work in our favour. These straws are going nowhere. I still think Pantillimon can be tested and not sure I rate Demichelis so far either. Other than that they are quite good.
Demichelis does look vulnerable. Having Kompany next to him will help though. "Quite good" is right! We'll just have to hope they have an off day!
Getting fed up with these dots only visible when quoted. Can't do that all the time....well I could but you'd all get pissed off.
Did not realise that the kid is 6 feet 4, and may grow a tad more. Have not seen him play but does anyone know if he is considered a route one player or does he bring other qualities to the table. Our frontline is an effective weapon in the air and with the likes of JWP supplying the ammo we now have that second option which we lacked last year
From what I've seen (which isn't much admittedly) he seems to have decent touch as well as his size, so could be a useful player someday.
SAINTS: Gazzaniga; Chambers, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw; Cork, S. Davis; Ward-Prowse, Lallana, Rodriguez; Osvaldo. BENCH: Cropper, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Reed, RamÃrez, Gallagher, Lambert.
Probably about the best we could hope for. Surprised that Lambert is on the bench, I thought he was very effective in the week.
Not sure he'd get much change physically out of Kompany, and Osvaldo is a lot more mobile. Who knows. It's pretty much as good a team as we can hope for under the circumstances. I just worry about being beaten up in midfield.
