Rickie is actually doing what I expected he would start doing, which is to occasionally sit behind JRod, and Dani when he comes on, and provide a bit of attacking midfield passing precision. The guys aren't quite doing the runs yet, but he's providing an option there. When we go back to crossing the ball, he is also perfectly capable of doing what he has always done, which is to draw away to the far post. It's amazing how that tactic still works against even the best teams.
We are in trouble tomorrow. 4-1 I would guess. If MP can rally what's left of the team to even be in the game by half time I will be surprised. Just hope we don't pick up any more injuries.
The good thing about this injury crisis is that my expectations for tomorrows game are at absolute rock bottom, just avoiding a mauling will keep me happy. I haven't been this calm about a match since League 1.
Time for the prowse-meister to step up and play a more active role in midfield organisation? After all he is the next captain/England captain/manager/local MP/head of UN.
Yoshida is a game sharper than he was on Wednesday, as is Cork. I think we can get at least a point. COYR!
Betfair odds imply the following % chances: Saints win: 19% Man C win: 56% Draw: 25% Predicted most likely score is for one or other team to score >= 4 goals, with a 14% chance of happening. Note that that includes a result where we score four or more... Vin
My natural morning optimism has taken hold and i think we can get a win Gazzaniga Chambers Yoshida Lovren Shaw JWP Cork Davis Lallana Rodriguez Osvaldo Subs Cropper Hooiveld Lambert Target Reed Gallagher Fonte
Apologies if this has been asked before: Is Fonte still out from having a starting place? I'll be much happier if he's on the pitch from kick off. Vin

Thought it was split ends Could be his chance, but have a feeling Mauricio will take this as an opportunity to play David Salas
We are still very susceptible to any side pressing us and not letting us have time and space to play Sunderland out scrapped us a couple of weeks ago
