People at the match sometimes post at half-time, but yeah, most are watching a stream.

Yep, I'm a 'streamer'. Unfortunately with my job being very weekend-centric my ability to go to matches is severely limited, so make do where I can. Going to the Spurs match though which I am DELIGHTED about.

Just saw this from earlier. I hate to disappoint you but the commentary is all done live.

Sure, if the commentator says something prescient (which over a whole game is quite likely) they will include it in the highlights, but they don't record bits like that after the fact to make themselves look good as you seem to be suggesting.

Not any more. And I think we all knew it wouldn't last. Take Schneiderlin and one of the CBs out of the team and suddenly we're in trouble. It's not good enough.

I also made the point yesterday.

I was in the Kingsland and some people were leaving before the final whistle!

I waited until I got home before expressing my love for Jack Cork.

My son pointed out that loads of people had already streamed out for half time and missed Osvaldo's strike. They swapped a pie for seeing a great goal. I do wonder why they pay to come to the game. Twits.

After the celebrations of scoring, I didn't sit down. Perfect time to get a beer right then.

I'm actually slightly surprised that you'd make such a cheap point. I nearly considered covering that exit, but as I was corresponding with you I thought it didn't need to.

OK, I'll grind in the point that the tightest defence doesn't guarantee that you'll win the league, but only that you're likely to be near the top. And even that isn't a given if you can't score.

But then again, I'd expect you to know that already.

I don't know how this is supposed to relate to what I was originally saying. I was talking about how Cork wasn't quite as flawless yesterday as some were making out, and using a mistake he made as an example. Your counter-argument is pointing out that we've not conceded too many goals so far this season. I'm afraid I don't see the connection. I don't think the fact that we've got a good defensive record this season means that I've got no grounds to expect our players to cut out these mistakes. We may not have done too badly at the back so far, and the mistake I'm talking about may not have cost us in the end, but in the future something similar could, and then suddenly everyone on here will be moaning about it (cough Villa game cough). Just because we got a good result yesterday, that doesn't mean the players are infallible for the next week. There are obvious things that need working on at the back, because I can almost guarantee they will cost us points if ignored. As good as Jack Cork was yesterday, I'm sure Mauricio will have noticed the mistake and kept it in mind, because it does demonstrate a flaw in our defense, and it'd be really bloody stupid to ignore it just because the result was decent on the day.

I don't remember any counter argument I've personally made. I think you're confusing me with a few other posters.

I was in the Kingsland too and totally hacked off with the minority who decided leave early at half time, blocking the view, the same ones came back late for the second half and again left early, they were not the regular STs but the gap filler late purchase brigade.

Hey, I'm one of those sometimes and I don't leave before half time or full time.

It's like it every week. I wonder if they leave the cinema before a movie has finished? I find it odd. I go to watch my team play and to support them. I could understand it if they genuinely had an event to leave a few minutes early to be able to do both the match and the event, but outside of that it is a joke.

watching the game again and you see the fine line between brilliance and failure. Dani had 5 City players around him yet our players were really slow to respond, probably due to the speed of the counter. When Dani took his shot he had 3 Saints players totally unmarked streaming into the box. If he had missed or the keeper had got to the ball, imagine how many on here would be calling him a greedy bastard and that Lambert would have picked out one of the unmarked players

I've left early once - at home to West Brom last season. I just lost it when the 3rd goal went in and stormed out.

Has anybody mentioned this before..? In his post match interview with Adam Blackmore, Poch didn't wait for the translation all the time [trumpets blare, cannons roar]..!

It's just a matter of time before David can get back to photography.

<doh> Oh no he can't. There's Dani who needs him now. :)

Well, I have to confess, for the first time I left the match 15 minutes early yesterday. My only excuse was that I then had to run down to the train station to catch the 5pm to Waterloo in order to make my wife's works Xmas do at 7.30pm. And to think she thought I wouldn't be able to go to the match <laugh>
As for those who post during the match, I have no idea how it can be done from the stadium since whatever it might say on my phone about signal strength or 3G availability I have yet to get internet there.
