Yes, it was after the Swansea game, and we were safe - good job we didn`t need that point to stay up! I agree, Sparky gave us a bounce when we needed it - we`d have been down for sure if we stuck with MP2.
If we'd needed the point(s) that day, I had every confidence that we'd have got them, and so that Jesus winner wouldn't have happened. Not in the sense of going into the game (I'd have been as nervous as hell about our chances!). But during the game itself, I really got the feeling that we had another gear or two to move into, had we needed to, whereas City were on holiday.
Mark's greatest tribute was how he handled all the tricks in the build up to the Swansea game. He earned his money that night.......just not the new bloody contract!
I was assuming that the beer, kebab and certainty of loss would evade the need for that We can't catch the cats so we won Chill we're going to lose and doesn't matter Enjoy it if we play some decent football Kiss the girl Walk the dog or the other way round if you wish
I'm a little scared. They look rampant. Even a complete rotation will leave us facing some real class.
They can take KDB off now if they wanted. Let him put his feet up. Alongside Mahrez. And Silva. And Silva.
The amazon series all or nothing is a great watch with city but that episode .. not. Never want to see that goal again.
Maybe Liverpool will become petulant at the way that Man City are running the show, and take it out on the City players. A combination of injured players for City and red cards for Liverpool. Where's the down side?
Just noticed they don't give an assist on OGs, surely the one time it should? 4-0 is enough now chaps lets not spoil the scouser party.
L'pool played like they have been on a 48 hr bender. They have waited quite a while, so we shouldn't be too harsh.
Man City should be a walk in the park. We all saw how deflated they look following their loss of the title and after our great win against Norwich this can only go one way. Man City 5-0 Saints.
As it stands they need 3 wins out of their 6 remaining games to guarantee 2nd place, so they have probably targeted Newcastle, Bournemouth, and Norwich at home for that. Their away games will be a chance to see what prospects they have coming through the Academy. Sunday will be a run-out for the Under 5’s to see if they can: a) run as fast as the big man in the stripy shirt with a 4 on the back. b) see if they can give away a penalty by kicking the nice Irishman. c) all stand on each other’s shoulders to stop Uncle James kicking the ball over. Saints 0-5 Man City
