    Horrendous time to play them imo, going to be a riled up City side with a point to prove.

    Bit of a free hit really. Roll on Monday.

    Hoping to see a much different side this time as we looked extremely leggy!
    McCarthy;
    Soares, Stephens, Vestergaard, Targett;
    Romeu;
    JWP Pierre;
    Redmond, Ings, Long

    Ralph was hinting there might be some rotation for this match. I think he’ll stick to 3 at the back:
    ————————Gunn———————-
    —Bednarek—-Yoshida—-Vestergaard—
    Cedric—-Romeu——-Højbjerg——Vokins
    ———JWP————————-Redmond—
    ————————Ings————————-

    Would be good to see What Vokins and JWP could do under Hassenhüttl, but i think JWPs days are numbered. Favours a unfit and partially injured CM ahead of him.

    What like after they had lost to chelsea and Palace in 2 of their last 3 games and went to leicester?

    Personally i would rather play them now when they will be under pressure to not let the gap at the top widen and in poor form than when they are scoring for fun and have won 5 on the trot!

    All we need now is Gundogen to pick up a slight knock and you have no midfield, Saying that we probably get the ball off your players in the first place.

    This will go one of two ways: we'll get a result or we'll get thumped.

    There are 4 changes, nearly half the outfield squad.

    I know how many, although PEH is hardly s change as he played all other games, and you suggested you wanted to see a much different side mate, I didn’t think that was much different.

    I think stick some of the nippers in the team and bring back Cedric too.

    What do you think?

    Also think Gunn may get a chance

    I didn't count Pierre into the occasion, I also don't trust some of the other players to be as effective at the game plan that Ralph wants us to inplement.
    I also feel we need to drop 3 cbs for this game and allow 3 in midfield to nulifly Man city's narrow midfielders.

    From what has been said about Cedric it's unlikely he is to be rushed back in sadly.

    Also I do agree I feel Gunn deserves a chance, McCarthy has been a little lapse atm! Just can't see it.

    Absolutely agree that the best time to play any team is when they're out of form.

    You know what they say though; form is temporary, class is permanent. There's a good chance we'll be outclassed. But there's also a chance you won't show up.

    Don't think he'll change Beddy and Vest, and they did alright against Spam. Having PEH back is obviously a bonus, but asides from that I can't see many changes unless he recognises that some players need the rest.

    I wouldn't drop Valery either. He's learning a lot, improving fast, done little wrong since Cardiff, when he had to be subbed.

    Agreed I think he has done a very good job, Defending against a very inform Anderson yesterday and he wasn't made to look awful either.
