I think it's all part of the package with Klopp - I don't think he'll change. He's amiable and reasonable before and after the game but during it he's an emotional cauldron. I've said before that he's more like a fan than a manager when he's watching. Fortunately he comes down quicker than us in time for the post-match interviews.
Some people loved him - but never as much as he loved himself. I always thought he was a spoilt brat with his head firmly wedged up his own arse who promoted efficient but dull-as-**** football. "Special One", ffs. Anyone who calls themselves that without a hint of irony needs a poke in the eye. Klopp is much more balanced.
Someone should tell the annoying little **** not to do that in front of the home supporters. But I suppose he only sees the cameras. Not sure why Klopp took him off, but I'm glad he did.
The ****ing over reactions on this board is absolutely mental. 2 days ago, hitting some form, through in the Europa, looking upwards, and then one defeat later the world is crashing and our whole team is up for sell. Yeah we lost, we were 2-0 up and threw it away and you know what.. That's just football. Top four was always a long shot and remains so, a bit of perspective is needed. I like everyone else has faith in Klopp, the season is a write off but let's see if we can pull of another miracle in Europe, if not, well **** happens, we move on. Just be balanced, how can an entire opinion chop and change after one game? Anyway, onwards and upwards - take the positives and move on, let's let Klopp iron out the negatives.
I see your point. But you can understand the frustration. At around 230pm yesterday, we had reasonable expectations of overtaking the Mancs, even on goal difference. We were 2-0 up at half time and should even have been 3 and 4 ahead and the 3 points sewn up. The Mancs had been huge underdogs having been awful in previous away games and expected to get no points at City. But somehow we managed through Skrtl to throw away a win, and the Mancs manage to get 3 points leaving us 6 points behind (although with a match in hand). And even the likes of Southampton are ahead of us. Classical snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and even Klopp was angry. That must tell you how bad it was.
For me, I wasn't too optimistic going into the game. But going 2-0 up at HT, we should be winning the game. Yesterday was nothing new - same people let us down with their mistakes.
