Southampton 0-1 Liverpool

In the Usborne book of footballing equations - foreword by John Motson - bad defending = exciting games.
So I for one am happy to see the Liverpool backline all over the shop so far. Graziano Pelle has won two headers so far and both times Saints have been clean in on goal. Could easily have had two penalties.
This won't end 0-0. Definitely.

Finally looking to put a foot on a ball now, wish they would stop passing it back to Migs, he can't pick it up, and is just hoofing it up and giving it away, the back three may as well just hoof it forward themselves.

We've already stolen their system. Might aswell steal there tactics.

Does get the ball to be fair.

With his trailing leg he knows nothing about after diving in recklessly

If only Sterling had the time to dive out of the way it would be a definite penalty [HASHTAG]#evasiveaction[/HASHTAG]

<laugh>

The TV replay stops a second after Mignolet plays the ball, his body is outside the box, but the hand he played it with is still inside even then, and they still claim it was handball <laugh>

How we haven't conceded yet is beyond me. Migs done really well to be fair, particularly as the defence has done next to nothing to help his cause
