He completely misjudged the pace of the ball or the pace of Salah. Have to think the weather played a part in either holding the ball up in the wind or making McCarthy think it was going to come through to him with the wind behind it

He clearly thought it was one of those where he could come and get it before Salah. Just a bad decision in a game filled with them

 

Just checked on BBC and Salah was booked in the 84th minute for taking his shirt off, so those querying why he didn’t get a second yellow are bang on.

Can't fault the effort and endeavour today unfortunately sloppy mistakes cost us all three goals (again).

Typical that he finally starts Paul and he ends up getting injured, looks a bad one too. Bringing Lesley on seemed a weird choice too as we had no real outlet. Didn't get that at all.

Was shocked that Armstrong went off instead of Dibling. Tyler looked absolutely ****ed about 10 mins before that and could barely run it seemed.

Obviously couldn't see the penalty, did Yuni need to handle it?

 

Yes he did otherwise the Liverpool player would’ve got to the ball, but was only because of his awful body shape that he was in the position in the first place

Disafuckingppointed but not the hand wringing bed wetting capitulation some had us down for.

 

It didn't matter in the slightest as we were never scoring anyway. But something that really pissed me off was the ref making a big point of tapping his watch when Liverpool were to dragging out a throw in only to blow pretty much exactly on 8 minutes anyway.

1. I only lost one fence panel.

 

What naffs me off today is that RM WILL get credit for today’s performance but he’s still fundamentally at fault for the performance & where we are. SR also.
