of course he has. But he's also repeatedly gone skint from being a dreadfully poor judge as a gambler...
seems a bit strange having a tasty fixture at 3PM on a Saturday now that we are such a box office hit these days
not much news about our most expensive signing! is he still not fit? is he actually not that good? will he start against Liverpool and score 2 goals?
I see Lawro has predicted an Away win for Liverpool, despite mentioning that they have injuries [Twatcheeks] when they face us. Not a single mention that Saints have, relatively, more injuries than you can shake a stick at. Perhaps we'll have an off-day, though I doubt it. Especially if the media have anything to do with it. Everything, but everything is geared to the biggest of the biggest clubs. Liverpool have to take their position in the order too. There is no such thing as a level playing field.
Life, my friend, is a pale imitation of football. Would have thought you'd have clocked this by now. Bad omen. Sorry, but have to share it. As I was listening to England's cricketers being hammered this morning, my son-in-law passed by wearing a ****ing Liverpool shirt. That's it. We're in for a stuffing. And then every pundit will say that, despite their injury problems, Liverpool were ... fill in the gaps. God. I've lived cheek by jowl with LFC fans for four decades plus. Can you imagine how much I want to win on Saturday!
In fairness it isn't exactly ridiculous to predict an away win. It has more to do with them being top of the league and in brilliant form that them being a bigger club than us. Our league form isn't brilliant. We are strong at home but will need to be at our best to get anything from this. I think away win also - would love to be proved wrong!
Bastards! You've just talked me into matching a £20 bet with a Scouse mate. I hate the lot of you! Toys. Pram.
If that's true I expect a refund. I'm only coming to watch those three. Tragic news, and I trust we'll do the decent thing and refuse to play Nathan, Sofiane and use a rush goalie.
